As time passes by.

Its funny really. Time is a master of deception. It hides secrets of the past, and even confuses our own memories sometimes. Not to mention how long ago things feel, as well as vise-versa. It seams like my high school years were so long ago yet so close. It has only been about over a year, yet time just seams to fly by leaving it further behind. My first semester of college was a bit tough. Not that I struggled in school, or anything but I just saw how much was changing at once that it almost overwhelmed me. It had been happening since the beginning of my senior year.

You see yourself, an other getting older around you. Streets you once walked now have almost completely changed. Everything has changed and it depresses you. We all go through this. If I could spend an eternity with my cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members in the suburbs of Utah doing doughnut and drink runs, playing League of Legends, and taking long night walks I would. But if I did that I wold miss out on having a college experience, getting married one day, and all the other possibilities that the future holds.

Hold to the past because it makes a part of who you are, but don't clench to hard or you will never let go when you need to.

I have a Tip for you.

We all need a little advise. So here's a tip for you. Be sure to tip your waiters, and waitresses. I know that was a lame pun, but seriously. I work at a restaurant as a grounds keeper for putt putt outside this summer. At first I worked in the restaurant, and got tips. I don't now, but I get paid more for what I do outside. As for the people who work inside I notice just how little tips they get. Hell I barely got any while I worked there. With all of this talk of the rich paying their fair share, how often do we instead treat others fairly ourselves, you know instead of just voting for idiot leaders who claim they will make us do it.

I find it pathetic when I see those ladies work in the restaurant after making a large pizza pick up order, or some party comes and orders a lot, and leaves not even so much as a dime. I ask where is the fairness in that? Politics set aside these people often don't make much from their actual check, and often live off their tips. So what does that mean when people don't leave a tip. Well not only does it show how stingy people are, but how little appreciation we have for each other. Don't get me wrong I've not payed tips before, but that was only because the service was so lousy that it well you couldn't blame me.

Other than that please tip. Its more than just money. Its a sign saying good job. How many jobs would feel less of a drag if we all just felt important. To me as long as I'm getting paid what I should be for my work getting a little appreciation is better than more money any day.
