Isreals armed teachers. A some what true thing.

I see it online a lot. Israel arms teachers to keep kids safe, if the teachers at Newtown were armed those kids would have been saved if they would just fallow Israel. My answer to that is yes, and no. Yes I do believe in letting our teachers have ability to arm themselves to protect their students, but directly pointing out Israel is not the direct answer of proof. Let me explain.

Does Israel arm their teachers? Yes, and no. There was a time when it was required, but in recent years it's not. What people need to realize is that for a teacher to be allowed to have arms at a school they need to go through two years of military training. Also schools in Israel are gated. Not to mention that according to some research they more than often have armed guards then teachers. Even Israel has denied that all their teachers are packing heat. Its just an minority. Even Fox news posted a report saying it.

Despite that though Israel is in a constant amount of threat so they do have people protecting their children which I am in support of. Though Israel has gun control much on pare with much of Europe it seams I still think gun control is stupid. Really people just need to stop looking at all this stuff in black and white.

I do want to give my ideas of what I think should be done in this country as to arming teachers, but I mostly just wanted to point out the controversy that this country has about Israels armed teachers. They do have armed teachers, but not quite to the way we think, and armed guards are part of Israel schools, but lots of the information out there is black and white when we need to see the grey.

I am for armed teachers, but I think Ill give my ideas on that some other time. Though to be fair weather teachers are armed or not is having trained armed guards on schools a bad idea? Israel for sure does that.

Gun control apparently works unless your Swiss.

I used this as one of my sources in my report in one of my classes. I find it funny how people say that banning guns will prevent gun violence, yet Switzerland  allows their people to own fire arms just fine. In fact according to http://www.gunpolicy.org/ has marked  Switzerland as number three as number guns per 100 of populace. Number two is Yemen, and of course the United States is number one.

In fact  Switzerland has an outstanding militia instead of a military. So my question is if gun control works then how come  Switzerland has about as much gun violence as the United Kingdom. Feel free to check this out for yourself. I find Gun Policy to be a trusted site, and if you wont take that as proof then this report done by Time Magazine should support it enough.

PETA? What the hell?

I don't find animal cruelty right. I see no reason for an animal to be brutally beaten in most cases so great we're on the same page; sort of. We've all heard it. PETA is going up against Pokemon. First of all that's stupid, second of all the object of the game, cards, and T.V. show was not to encourage animal cruelty in the first place. In the games you fight and capture Pokemon, and yes make them fight, but you don't torture them, in fact if you are like me you actually get attached to them as if they were real pets sometimes. The card game is card game, you care for your cards.

In the actual Anime though you actually see relationships with the trainers and their Pokemon. Ash cares for Picachu, never beats him, or treats him wrongly, nor any of the rest of his Pokemon. In fact he feels pain seeing them get badly hurt and encourages them to do their best. The only people who abuse Pokemon at all in this show are of course villains. Team Rocket, that blue haired guy who abandoned that Charmander, and that numerous others, but they we're always shown as bad guys, or people who later learned a lesson by the end of the episode. Never once did it make it seam like abusing your animals was good, in fact it showed it to kids how it's bad, and how we should love and take care of our pets/animals.

So what the hell PETA? Do you really need something to bitch about. What did you guys run out of labs that do animal testing to burn down. Yeah that's appropriate. And just think; we conservatives are blamed for being extremists, but the moment the Obama Administration endorses the behavior of an organization that burns down buildings that is obviously built up of extremists it's somehow not ridiculous.

Lets just get to the ending point. PETA is full of crap, and there is nothing wrong with Pokemon other then it turned from a memorable part of my childhood into a idea that shits out money with the past generations since 3rd being crap. Other then that it's harmless. PETA, at least the people in support of this withing PETA, are extremists who just wanted to bitch about something. I mean we are talking about a group that finds shearing sheep harmful to the animal, when any person who has either worked, lived, or lived near a sheep farm would obviously know that shearing them in the summer keeps them from overheating, and is thus good for them.

I'm not really trying to be super serious in all of this, but I am in no way proud of this organization. Fur is not murder, animals do have feelings but not the same as humans, there is nothing wrong with eating meat, there is nothing wrong with hunting, and for crimany sake if your so great and wonderful then why do you act like you got sticks up your asses? I've never met someone who is part of PETA, I live in to conservative of a state for that to really be around, but good hell from what I've learned about them they just seem to be a bunch of attention whores bent only getting their way like a bunch of bawling children.

Gun control. Statistically proven wrong.

The fallowing is a report I wrote for my Critical Thinking class. I got a 100% on it and thought it would be good to share. The report has to do with how gun control doesn't work, and the stats, and some historical events to back it up. I hope you enjoy it. It may feel a bit long, but I put a lot of work into it and even set up references and  links to fallow up. I highly suggest fallowing them if you have any doubts.

J. Nathanial Phillips
Philosophy 225 (Critical Thinking)
Reflection Paper #2
Gun Control, a Peculiar Reality Assumption
It’s been in hot debate for quite some time. The idea is that the banning of fire arms to the nations civilians is a good idea to reduce violence. The idea is inductive. By banning guns murder will go down, school shootings will stop, and the number of overall violence in the country will drop since the civilians don’t have the main implement of murder in the United States. In theory this idea sounds great, but in all reality it is nothing more than a reality assumption. Statistics work for, and against gun control. We should let history be the judge, but most people tend to listen to statistics. I will do that with reason behind them.
According to gunpolocy.org the number of guns deaths in the United States in 2011 was around 32,163, note that 19,766 of those where suicides, 851 unintentional deaths, 617 were justified, and were 11,101 were actual homicides. Now let’s look at the United Kingdom that has a gun death total of about 146 with 93 of those being suicide, 2 were unintentional,3 were justified, and 28 where homicides. Now the United Kingdom has strict gun laws in which most of the civilian population is against them, and most of them don’t own one. So shouldn’t this be good proof that gun control works? Note many countries in Europe have similar laws and numbers.
Perhaps, but it can be turned on its head; looking at Switzerland’s statistics  the number of gun homicides in 2010 was 40, and the total number of gun suicides was 239 in 2008. The estimated number of guns owned by the population is 3,400,000 with a 45.7 firearms per 100 people. Switzerland also ranks number three in number of guns per 100 population world ranking. And according to my father who is a cop, and a NRA fire arms instructor they openly let civilians own guns with no problem as they serve as an outstanding militia to as to having a standing army. This information can be found online, specifically in a report done by Time magazine site in the world section.
So wait. If Switzerland can have one of the highest civilian gun counts in the world, note the United States is number 1, and has a lower gun homicide rate then the United States gun homicide homicide rate of 2011 with 11101? The answer is simple. Guns aren’t the problem; there is a third party to all of this. What is a growing problem in this country that could be a result? If you guessed drugs then you got it right. And who distributes most of these drugs? Gangs. We all know how vicious gang violence is, yet despite Mexico banning guns from the civilian population the county is a blood bath in some regions due the plague of the drug trade. Here in the United States may not be as bad, but still let’s take a look.
According to FBI statistics the total number of gang arrests in 2001 was 3999, in 2009 that number has raised to 9082 then down to 7184 in 2010. That’s a big jump. According to the 2011 national gang threat assessment under the section of Gang Related Crime; gangs are responsible to 48% of violent crime in most jurisdictions. That is also higher in other places. In fact this section of the report has recorded that some jurisdictions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, and Texas report that gangs are responsible for at least 90 percent of crime.
So what good is banning guns going to do when these gangs already obtain their weapons through stealing, or the black market? Other countries with strict or complete gun control haven’t been able to prevent their gangs, and organized crime from obtaining fire arms, let alone just any criminal in general. Statistics in my opinion are still no match for history though.
On July 22nd 2011 a man disguised as a police officer armed with a legally obtained semi-automatic rifle, and handgun in Norway, note that Norway has some of the strictest gun laws in the world, killed 69 youth camper on the island of Utøya, after killing 8 others in a car bombing at the executive government quarter of Norway in Oslo. Despite extremely strict guns laws it still did nothing to prevent a psycho anti sematic and Marxist killer from openly attacking his own government and people. Even if he couldn’t legally obtain the gun he most likely would have obtained it illegally, or just homemade explosives none the less.
Years before on September 1st 2004 in Beslan Russia Islamic terrorists took hostage of 1100 (777 children) hostage in an school using an assortment of fire arms, including automatics, and a large and elaborate use of explosives.  The three day siege ended with 380 dead. Even after Russian forces had gained control of the school the fighting went into the night and even after that perused for more of the hostage takers continued. The Russian army even sent in tanks it was so bad, civilians took up weapons to join the fight, and many people were killed simply in the crossfire between Russian soldiers, and the hostage takers. The details are chilling, and suggest everyone should read, and learn about this attack.
Despite strict gun restriction terrorists armed with automatic weapons and explosives literally turned the town into a literal hell. These terrorists no doubtingly got their arms from the black market, as most countries don’t allow their civilians to own fully automatics, and even a country like our own still requires very hard getting license to obtain them legally as civilians. There are millions of fire arms on the black market. Terrorists get their AK47s and RPG’s from somewhere.
It’s not just terrorists that we need to worry about; there is an image refenced that explain in  the top caption say; “the experts agree.” Below that are the photos of Adoph Hitler, Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung, Muammar Qaddafi, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, and Kim Jung Il;  the bottom caption quotes; “gun control works.” Historically gun control has resulted in more deaths than all the wars combined in past 20th century. Hitler murder over 6 million Jews plus millions of other ethnic groups plus those who opposed him. Joseph Stalin murdered millions of his own people just to keep in power, and Kim Jung-Il, well we all know of the things the North Koreans have been doing to their own people.
Statistics and history proves that gun control does only one thing. Keep the civilians from protecting themselves from those who aren’t going to obey the law, and if worse comes to worse, even the peoples own government may come to get them. It’s happened before, is still happening, and will continue to happen. This isn’t propaganda, or an arrogant rant. It’s true facts that I hope may at least a little bit prevent the elimination of this country’s most important right; the one amendment that can protect all the rest, and ourselves from those who would seek to take our lives. We can sit here and give into the lie, or reach the facts. We should all strive for the truth. There are countless amounts of information out there; it’s just a matter of taking the time and effort to learn the statistics and history behind it.

If you only used your own brain.

We live in a country torn between Republican and Democrat. I know its sucks don't it. Make your Republican jokes, as I will make my Democrat ones if there is one thing that is not funny its how on either side you get people who fallow the other for the wrong reasons. I myself do not consider myself a Republican, but a independent conservative. That being said I did vote Republican during the last presidential election, and probably will until some other party with more of my personal mind set finally gets enough attention to even have a chance. Sadly the chances of that are unlikely, but I'm not here to talk about Republicans, and Democrats. I'm here to tell you about how those who only fallow those two often don't use their own brains. Note this can go for all parties too by the way.

Now if you are a Republican, or Democrat because you thought to yourself that their party was best for you then good. What I don't like is people blindly fallowing the crowd. I hate even worse when people by in to either side propaganda in order to make them feel what ever they want to be feeling, or the what the message wants them to feel. The problem in this country isn't simply its the Republican, or Democrats faults. Though yes I do blame lots of this nations problems on the Democratic side the biggest reason it's happening though is that people seam to not think for themselves, but rather have the two parties do that. And to think that the scarecrow wished he only had a brain.

As much as I hate the analogy of sheep as to show how people fallow positions since our Savior is considered a Shepard and we the sheep. Christ would never lead us to the slaughter so I created my own way of saying it. We have the sheep that fallow the other sheep, thus leaving them to the hands of the shepard weather he is trustworthy or not. They may make it out alive, or as lamb chops. These are the people who fallow a cause only because the party, their friends, family, and such do so.

Then we have the sheep that fallow the Shepard because he gives them free stuff making them fat, large, and easily persuaded. They could make it out alive but history has seen these people massacred in the slaughter. Good example are Liberal who vote for a party so they can get there free "not really free" stuff from government like Obama-care, and of course blame other. These sheep could end up just like the millions in Russia after its turn to communism, or as it should really be called Totalitarian Socialism.

Then there are the sheep who fallow the Shepard because they trust the Shepard. That doesn't mean they can be led to the slaughter, but at least if things go bad they have a chance to break off, and save themselves as for the other sheep will fallow blindly to their demise. These are sheep like me. I don't vote for someone because that party told me too, or because other people told me too. I did it because I trust the person I voted for.

I actually thought for myself. I am an individual and thus I should decide who I fallow based off of what I think is right. Maybe I'm wrong, but at least I'm thinking so chances are I can figure that out for myself while for other's... it may be too late. I am willing to take responsibility for my actions, and hope that the people I vote for will to. Unlike a certain Democratic party and the people who blindly voted for it. If you voted Democrat or some other liberal side I of course disagree with you, but if you did it based off your own knowledge, and not what Liberal Politicians told you, then I respect your decision, and hope you keep using your head unlike the other people who voted on your side, and of course vise-verse.

The Whens

The fallowing is an E-mail that was sent to me from my father. It is a bit long so I at least hope you read a good portion of the body before reading the bottom conclusion. Some of these Ideas may seem extreme, but it asks many questions that do deserve answers. Is Obama a Socialistic Marxist? Read and ponder for your self.

Pedantry. Nitpicking's of this world.

I have recently worked on a report for a class on Pedantry. Pedantry can be summarized as a person who nitpicks. It got me thinking. Just how much do we nitpick? As we look at our world we see lots of it. Naturally we humans love to criticize things, but some take it to a whole new level. Politicians, Critics, and You Tube commenters come to mind. I even mention them in my report. We all hate it yet we let it slide. Politicians just pick away at everything rather than looking at the good, or real problem.

So lets stop letting everything get picked at and look at the real problems shall we? There are far more important things than same sex marriage, and abortion to worry about now. We got citizen rights, and an economy to save. And a government shut down full of nitpicking babies isn't helping.

Making things hard is easy.

Lets face it. Everything has to be done in a tedious, complicated, annoying, and just plain out hair pulling way. Why? Because that's just the way it has to be. Or at lest that how we feel. When you look at it things are often just hard because in my opinion we always try to make it that way. Why. Because we make ourselves think it will be effective. Let face it if the bureaucrats made government forms easy then it wouldn't look like they weren't doing their job. Its this if its smart it has to be complicated mentality. Or at least that's how I look at it.

Then again is making things more complicated easier for the people who make, oh lets just say the requirements for your scholarship weren't in detail as to how many credits you need right then so when its to late you don't get that money you need. If you can't already tell I'm a bit annoyed right now and that last passage probably explains why.

If they would have sent me an e-mail sooner before the day I left for school, and told me exactly what I need when I needed it I would be in this jam. If they said things in detail that would have made it easy to understand then I would be fine. It said I needed 14 credits for a scholarship for winter semester so I thought I needed 14 credits during that semester when in reality I needed them now. "Well thanks for telling me oh... NEVER!"

Why is it complicated? Because its easier not to make it. It seems things have to be hard simply because they're expected too, and it is sometimes easier too. Not to mention how some people do it because they think if its not complicated it's apparently not good enough. We need to shake this mentality from our minds and focus on making things simple, and effective.

How awesome would it be if anyone could learn how to use a new operating system off the back? How great it would be to send in your taxes without a head ache? Hell how many headaches would you get if things were simple yet still effective as ever? To me that sounds more like a fairy tale then something that could actually exists.

A site for you.

I got in a conversation earlier today with a fellow student from the U.K.. I mentioned that I disagree with her countries methods on gun control. She , to no surprise, mentioned that she believe no one should own guns. She also mention that statistics says otherwise. This is both true, and untrue. It is true that the United States has a higher murder rate than most, and I believe all, of Europe. That being said she is not entirely right that banning guns prevents murder. Check this out for yourself.

Go to the site on this ling and look up Switzerland, and the U.K.. Notice how their gun murder rates are similarly low, the difference though? Switzerland allows its civilians to have guns. Fell free to research other countries as well. One things for sure the U.S. does not have the highest gun murder rate in the world. In fact its one of the lowest on a chart on the first page. Look around a bit, and if you have any doubts there are listed references at the bottom of the page.

Syria, why the hell are we the only ones who will deal with it?

With all this turmoil in Syria I got to thinking. Why is my country the only one who really wants to get involved in Syria? I appreciate the support of the U.K. and France, and any other European country, which sorta surprises me but good.

O.K. here's a better question. Why isn't the U.N. sending in people? Yeah that's right they looked into it, but in the end shouldn't it be the U.N.s job to go in and stop the senseless killing of civilians? Oh yeah that's right we're talking about a socialistic version of the Breakfast Club who didn't find it important to get involved in things like oh Rwanda, and basically the rest of Africa, and Bosnia which by the way the killing was ended when U.S. forces finally put some bullets into some heads and not trying to talk negotiate with people who don't give a rats ass. The same goes to the U.E.. They couldn't even shoot to save civilian life, and often would be held hostage at times.

You see what I'm getting at? YOu have these organizations for peace who aren't will to give the ultimate answear to a problem. Yeah I don't think we should go into Syrai, but I would feel a lot more confrotable doing so if the U.N. would pull up their frilly stocking, stop their master plan for a global domonation, sorry, I mean global goverment for just two seconds we could end this who problem all together at a substantial rate.

Yes I do believe in diplomacy before action, but when innocent civilians are dies on purpose, well then something needs to be done, and it needs to be an cruiser missile blowing the shit out of who ever though gassing innocent civilians was a good idea. If they give up their chemical weapons FINE! Lets stay out of this, but if not the U.N. needs to actually do its freaking job for once.

As time passes by.

Its funny really. Time is a master of deception. It hides secrets of the past, and even confuses our own memories sometimes. Not to mention how long ago things feel, as well as vise-versa. It seams like my high school years were so long ago yet so close. It has only been about over a year, yet time just seams to fly by leaving it further behind. My first semester of college was a bit tough. Not that I struggled in school, or anything but I just saw how much was changing at once that it almost overwhelmed me. It had been happening since the beginning of my senior year.

You see yourself, an other getting older around you. Streets you once walked now have almost completely changed. Everything has changed and it depresses you. We all go through this. If I could spend an eternity with my cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members in the suburbs of Utah doing doughnut and drink runs, playing League of Legends, and taking long night walks I would. But if I did that I wold miss out on having a college experience, getting married one day, and all the other possibilities that the future holds.

Hold to the past because it makes a part of who you are, but don't clench to hard or you will never let go when you need to.

I have a Tip for you.

We all need a little advise. So here's a tip for you. Be sure to tip your waiters, and waitresses. I know that was a lame pun, but seriously. I work at a restaurant as a grounds keeper for putt putt outside this summer. At first I worked in the restaurant, and got tips. I don't now, but I get paid more for what I do outside. As for the people who work inside I notice just how little tips they get. Hell I barely got any while I worked there. With all of this talk of the rich paying their fair share, how often do we instead treat others fairly ourselves, you know instead of just voting for idiot leaders who claim they will make us do it.

I find it pathetic when I see those ladies work in the restaurant after making a large pizza pick up order, or some party comes and orders a lot, and leaves not even so much as a dime. I ask where is the fairness in that? Politics set aside these people often don't make much from their actual check, and often live off their tips. So what does that mean when people don't leave a tip. Well not only does it show how stingy people are, but how little appreciation we have for each other. Don't get me wrong I've not payed tips before, but that was only because the service was so lousy that it well you couldn't blame me.

Other than that please tip. Its more than just money. Its a sign saying good job. How many jobs would feel less of a drag if we all just felt important. To me as long as I'm getting paid what I should be for my work getting a little appreciation is better than more money any day.

Gullible!

With the Zimmerman trial up and going I just want to ask one thing. How Gullible can people get? People willing think that Trayvon Martin was an innocent black teenager who was murdered in a racist assassination. That's what a good portion of the media made it to be. But you know what instead of making  you read all this lets just play this video shall we.

What the hell happened?

Let me just get this out of the way. I do not support homosexuality. I think it is immoral, and wrong, and there is no way in hell people are born that way. I am of Christian faith. That being said I don't hate people who are "gay". It is a choice, and though I don't agree with it i still respect people as to what they are. Human beings. But what I don't respect is what California did. Yes I know this is a little late, but I still feel my blood boiling about it.

Lets get one thing straight. I'm not just angry because gay marriage what made legal. That's not even 1/8 of it. No I'm angry because the California government just willing made it legal without letting the people be the judge. One thing I hate about liberals is that its their way or the highway. No medium, or negotiation they just want to do as they please, because apparently they are always right. Well thanks for being ignorant. Way to let a democratic nation not decide what they want. Personally I think this hole gay marriage thing is a state decision made up of the majority of the population of the state, not the obvious answer their liberal leaders want.

Granted there are things the government needs to decide on its own, but in cases like this they should let the people decide, not them. I would be just fine with this was done the way it should have been done. If the citizens of the state got to call the shot. But the moment the idiots in our government  make a call like this well lets just say that if people dont think the liberals leaders in this country don't want to seize total control of the nation, well be sure to tell that to me when they force you to abide with something you not very fond of. Like banning the size of your soda for instance.

Let the government do the job they are supposed to do. Obtain law, and order, build up a strong military to defend the nation, and maintaining the infrastructure of our country; not deciding what they think is best for me, you, and the rest of this nation. We need to be the one who decides that. We are a Democratic Republic, not a Communistic, I mean socialistic, society that has to have the government babysit us.

Hypocrisy!!!! Yeah!!!!

When I saw this picture it made laugh, because its true. People like Micheal Moore are rich liberals, yet want the rich to pay their share. somehow I doubt they include themselves.

Does the news only lie?

Its a pretty good argument out there. Does the news only tell lies, or half the truth? Are they being paid off? Is there anything I should believe? My answer to that is quite a bit, very likely, and yes. We often hear people arguing that the liberal, and conservative media just never tell the true story. I don't think that is entirely true. As much as I hate the liberal media, and its constant bashing of conservatives, I still manage to pick out truth in stories. In all news media there is some truth. Whether its buried or in plain site is normally up to you. For the most part I don't think the news lies, it just does what they are told. Tell news.

Unfortunately news companies tend spend more time on bad stories then anything good going on. That being said news companies do lie, or more likely are told to lie, and maybe even more likely don't get the whole story straight.

Take the Newtown shooting. I've seen twist and turns, rumors, and conspiracy theories up the ass. I have even seen the YouTube comment argument of there was no "assault weapon" only pistols. Thank NBC for that one. Was there an AR15 used? I believe so, but what about the guy that ran into the woods, or the acclaimed witnesses who say there where multiple shooters? What do I believe? I don't know. Quite frankly I'm willing to take into account anything that makes just about any sense. Was it a government plot? Was the shooter really proclaimed dead the day before the shooting? I don't know.

All I know is this. Many news companies will do what they are told. I don't trust liberal media for one second. That being said that doesn't mean Fox News is completely right either. Its always he said, she said, they said. Are there cover ups, is the news being paid off, do they only tell the story the way they want it to be told? I already gave my answer. I don't know what to believe. The real truth is what we ourselves are willing to believe. Maybe we're right, maybe we're wrong. In the end I believe all truth eventually comes forth.

Esults

In past posts I have posted how much I hate over dramatic, and idiotic You Tube commenters. Well for those who do too you will like this. From That Guy With the Glasses, and The League of super critics on YouTube I bring you Esults. Thanks to a hero of mine Doug Walker, aka the Nostalgia Critic, we now a full line up of videos you can send to people who give you unnecessary comments. Here's a sample that I most likely will use some day.

Return of the You Tube commenter

A couple months ago I posted a blog about the ignorance of most You Tube commentors. In recent months I will admit to have been in that same category. Not because I leave rude jerk off comments, but rather I get involved in You Tube arguments to easily. I see someone being a jerk or saying rude and uncalled for things and in my mind I have this urge to put them in their place. What I get though is a few comments of insults, and stress from these people. But I'm not hear to talk about jack asses on You Tube. I'm here with some tips that may help you if your ever in one of the situations that I occationally get in. With some experience I've come up wit a few.

1. Just don't comment. Sometimes I swear people comment on others comments just to be douche bags. Or if your me, to play law and order. Be careful, or don't post anything at all, but more importantly refrain from commenting on comments.

2. Be mature. If there is one thing that I have done better its been being mature in my comments. Whether on the video, or to another commenter. That being said some videos it OK to be immature on such as You Tube Poop videos, but in many cases its best to be mature. You feel a lot better when you sound smart and mature compared to your obsessive swearing angry rude opponent. You also look a lot better too. I like playing the act your age card.

3.Stake realistic claims. Granted many people will still call you an idiot who doesn't know anything even though you did your research. All that does though is make them look ignorant, and immature.

4. Do go out half cocked. Meaning don't get in an argument if you know little about the topic, or know you wont be able to find viable research. You might end up looking like an idiot, and the other commenter will put you down.

5. Report abuse if necessary. Sometimes people go to far. Saying just incredibly cruel and insensitive things. Some may even give violent death threats. Best thing to do is report them. They get their punishment, and they can never comment or talk to you until you un block them. Save you a lot of trouble, and might make them feel foolish in the end.

6. Quit while your ahead. There's no need to pour more fuel onto a fire when not necessary. If the commenter continues to argue, or insult you just stop, or a leave a simple comment like, "your and adult, act like it." There isn't much they can do after that that wont make them look stupid.

A bit of encouragement.

We all need a little encouragement form time to time. So I thought I would post this video. I'm going to miss these guys since they recently broke up, but may their music live on and encourage us.

Thanks Captain Planet, I guess?

Well with earth day gone buy I had the perfect chance to watch some Captain Planet on the Captain Planet marathon on Boomerang. What else can I say but that its like a liberal fantasy, were the evil polluting villains are the conservatives, and the ego friendly planetiers are the wonderful liberals with their earth saving knowledge. They even support homosexuality with their trusted green haired, blue skin red underwear wearing hero Captain Planet.

Now of course that was just a joke, and not really related to the topic. Granted I would love to point out liberal problems of the show, but I would rather focus on the main "lie" of the show. This "lie" I guess you could say is more of a explaination without being entirly true. What I'm talking about is the supposed fact that greenhouse gasses are the cause of global warming, which is a load of crap. That being said I do believe we need to lower our carbon footprint, but not for planet warming reasons, rather making our air clean to breath reasons.

The point I'm over all getting to is the fact that we have been leaving our last Ice Age for the past ten thousand years or so since its end. Meaning that our planet since then has been naturally getting warmer. Meaning that green houses are not the blame. Its just the natural pattern of what you could call and earth cycle. Every so often the world freezes over, then thaws back to a warm, and oftenly tropical state. If green house gasses were to blame we would need to seriously kill off a lot of cows, and plug up a lot of volcanoes, because those two alone produce more green house gasses than we humans do.

With that said I think we still need to use our oil, and coal, and let our companies and economy grow. Because then with a good company, and some good economic times, and an increase in better technology we can one day thrive off of clean energy. So as Captain Planet would say "Listen to the Facts." Just as long as they don't come from him. Unless its stuff like recycle, and clean up you car fluids and such, which we already know so just what ever.

Don't believe the polititions? Beleive the FBI.

While sitting and listening to general conference I began to do some snooping around the FBI site just for fun. I put "gun stats" in search box. What I came up with I found rather interesting. A table with homicide data starting in 2007 and going to 2011, as many of their carts and table do. I will admit that the cause of the most homicides was indeed fire arms, but that's not what caught my eye. It was which type of fire arm that was used most.

The way liberals talk you would think it was assault rifles styled weapons. What intrigues me the most is that is of course not true. In truth the number of hand gun homicides in 2007 is a good 3000 deaths more than then rifles Note there is no assault rifles section on the list. As a son of a cop my father has told me before that the most common form of fire arm used against law enforcement in shoot outs is in fact handguns, because the are easy to be hidden, and in the case of gangs are easy to obtain off the black market.

I also noticed that the number of murders went down substantially over the years to 2011. The only one that rose up to the highest of the list was poisoning, which reached a high of 11. But in general muders went down in those years. Why you may ask? Well it sure as hell wasnt gun control I'll tell you that much. If anything the election of our pathetic excuse of a present helped seal that with the massive amount of fire arms purchased afterwards. A coincidence? I think not.

I don't see why the liberals are so obsessed with banning assault rifle like weapons. if anything the could at least make themselves look smarter by trying to ban handguns, which would be just as bad if not worse. I also think these stats speak for themselves.Note I do not think all liberals are idiots. Why else would murder go down if guns sale were not up? I can't think of anything.

See for yourself.

No supstitutes follow up

I wish to make this as a followup on the post about using natural things in food. The reason why is simple. Over the course of a few conversations, or I should say arguments, with some of my friends I decided to post this. The argument was that by forcing soda companies to switch to real sugar soda companies would loose money, because some people prefer the taste of high fructose corn syrup, and that just because its better for you. I think that people likeing the taste better is a load of crap since real sugar taste about the same, only in my opinion just a bit better, not super noticiable. But they did make a good point other than that. I said that soda companies should be forced. Being a conservitive I made myself sound a bit like a liberal. Though I do beleleive that over time using real sugar should be required right now is not the time.

Rather my belief is to change it over a course of time.. I think we should encourage soda companies to start making the change, and as the taste to the American people evolve then over time everyone will just accept it as normal. I think thats and idea that anyone can agree with.

With that said I managed to buy a little bag of candy that much to M&M's, but better. Using real sugar, no preservatives, no hydrogenates, no GMO's, and no artificial at all. Not even coloring. After tasting it I was really impressed. It taste a bit different, but a good different. A little kid wouldn't even notice. That being said here's the site. Check it out. I think new companies doing this is a great idea.

Leave it to Michael Moore

Can I just say how big of an ass Michael Moore is. I get the idea of showing horrors to help people understand the terrible things that happen, and need to be prevented, but use the gruesome shot up photos of the Sandy Hook shooting victims to demonize the NRA is just a ass a nine, and futile below the belt move that will only convince those ignorant enough to believe it. Which sadly is a lot of people. Its like posting pictures of fat starving African children and saying donate your money to save these kids, when the charity your donating to goes strait to the war lords that help cause the problem in the first place. I hate school shootings just as much as anyone else, but the NRA is not the problem. But that is a post for another time. What grinds my gears is the fact that he would do such a disrespectful thing in the place. I can't even image how those parents feel after hearing about those pictures of their dead children were posted on a blog for political gain. Dishonorable, and disgraceful. Sometimes people take their first amendment rights just a little to far.

Violent crimes in 2011

http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-releases-2011-crime-statistics

The fallowing is an FBI report with information on the amount of crimes in 2011 declining in a fifth conservative year. Meaning during the time we weren't having so many gun laws being shoved in our faces we were having low murder rates and such. This is brought up directly from the FBI itself.

Hold the substitutes please.

It's made some heads spin. From what I've heard New York is planning on making a law that makes it so you cant buy any soda over 16oz for health reasons, and such. Is this stupid? Yes, but I do understand their reasoning. Soda is a major cause of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. So controlling amounts would be good right? Well if you want your life to be treated like a dictatorship in a little way then yes. Though I have a better solution for the health dalema. One that would just be all around better.

Instead of reducing the amount that can be sold, in which that will do little to nothing in the case of consumption, just make the soda healthier in the first place. Now of course soda is not really healthy in general, but it can be improved. How might you ask? By not using disgusting high fructose corn syrup, and using real cane sugar; that's how. Studies have shown that high fructose corn syrup, and other sugars substitutes like glucose, and sucrose have been know to cause diabetes, heart disease, and obesity at a much more substantial rate than good old natural can sugar. The only reason that soda companies and such dont use cane sugar is because it would cost them too much money. I call that bull though because I can buy a 20ozer of Mountain Dew Throwback, which uses can sugar by the way, for the same price as a normal Mountain Dew. That being said I still drink soda with high fructose syrup in it, but I have reduced my intake greatly.

It's not just high fructose corn syrup either either. Fried foods should not use hydrogenated oils, Diet sodas should use things like stevia instead of aspartame that is actually worse for you than high fructose corn syrup. Fast food could be in some cases maybe even good for you if they used natural ingredients. The same for all the other processed food we eat. So my solution to the problem is not to ban it all, but to make those companies comply to healthier food standards. Even if it would cost more it wouldn't be that much, and your health is a bit more important anyways.

All in all we need to control our sugar, and fat intake, but its a little hard when almost everything we eat in this wonderful country is practically just sugar and fat. We can all live healthy, but hell the major food companies are sure making it hard. I'm against too much government regulation in things, but wont hurt us. The United States already has food controls such as the meat inspection act, so just making it law not to use high fructose corn syrup and such is just a promotion offer, and a chance for out nation to do some actual good for the people.

Rape now in style

Its been a while but I think its time I put in some input.

It's been going around a lot lately. With the nation on this gun delema I've heard some rather stupid things over the course of a few weeks. That women should not be armed for their own protection due to all the anti gun crap being spread around. So called experts say that their are better ways to deal with an rapist than to pull out a fire arm. Things like: urinating them selves, carrying an rape whistle, traveling in groups, staying in safe areas, calling the police, screaming, pretending to faint, telling the attacker she has aids, the list goes on.

How in the hell do people think these things would work. Sure some of them are good ways to avoid a problem, but sometimes a determined attacker will do what ever it takes to get what he wants, and they don't always let their victims live afterwards. The simplest solution is just to pull out a Glock, and see if the rapist wants to get some action now. Granted there is pepper spray, and tazers, but they dont always work if someone is extremely drunk, high, or if there is multiple people. Plus a handgun has many other uses as well. Such as stopping mass shootings. If anything women should carry a handgun, knife, and a can of pepper spray ,or a tazer. In the end be safe, and help solve this problem before it becomes an even bigger one.

YouTube commenters!!!!! Duh Duh Duh!!!!!

We all love YouTube right.? For the most part from what I've seen yes. We can watch funny, stupid, entertaining videos, and just about anything else on there it seems. It's great for the most part. There are some flaws with it like crappy videos that aren't even entertaining, Liberals speaking about things that they have no Idea about, and much more. When it comes to the nitty gritty the one thing that pisses me off the most is asshole commenters. Granted I comment often on YouTube, but most of the time its something silly, or a congratulation to the person who posted the video. Then you get those people who go to far. Those people with their stupidity, ignorance come up acting like complete assholes insulting people, acting big and tough, and being a plain out douche. For example.

I watched a video that was performed by man teaching self defense. His lesson was why not to punch in a street fight. For a good part he was right. Punching at the head can result in hurting yourself by accidentally hitting the skull; infact it can break the hand. Though true I do still think punches twords the face is affetive, just not as affective as most people make it out to be. Truely I would prefer an open palm strike.

That being said I continued to read the comments. First thing I saw was the large amount of dislikes. My first thought was what? Why? The comments gave a good clue to the ignorance of those dislikes. Things like "This guys a pussy', or "I could kick this pussies ass any day," or of course "Fake and Gay". I can not tell you how much I hate this. First of all this guy was obviously a professional so I doubte any of those comments could kick his ass. Secondly way to a douche for no good reason. To say you disagree is one thing, but to be an ass about it for the sake that you are is just stupid. And its not just this video.

You get people who have to say "fake and gay" to everything. People saying the can kick ass, getting in agruments over who's right over stupid things, and of course the dumb twelve year old who thinks hes the hottest shit in the world, and knows everything. Now I've left mean comments before, but that was because the video was extremely insulting, beyond un-entertaining, or the video suffers baby whiners who think YouTube is to bitch at why they are right.

Enough is enough. Stop leaving comments that are just ass a nine in nature. If your not going to leave a respectful comment at why you disagree, or why this was stupid then don't comment at all. Or at least let it be an actual good reason, which there rarely is. Calling a video stupid is fine, calling someone on a video stupid is one thing, but don't go on about how big of a pussy a guy is, and why you can kick his ass when that is obviously not true.

For hell sake I'm not a Extremeist.

I've noticed it a lot. I see it often blurted out by Brian in the Seth McFrallin  show "Family Guy." There are countless You Tube comments on it. Every time that politics come up the Republican Party, and other Conservatives come as to extremists in the political world. Calling us Nazi's, Fascists, Extremest, Left wing nuts, Deep south gun em up rednecks, Anti Government, and a bunch of other bullshit that adds up to be nothing than the liberal sack of lies portrayed by the liberal media, and its supporters. A way to make us look bad so our communistic, I mean socialistic president can get more of what he wants by tricking the American people.

Lets begin on this shall we. First of all I call myself a Moderate Conservative, not a Republic. Though I did vote for the Republican party last I offer no allegiance to any party. That being said I wish to begin with the idea of Conservative Republicans be Fascist, and even called Nazi's at times. First of all if they were Nazi's there would be no black Republicans, and seeing how Nazi's are antisemitic morons who would never allow a black person to join their ranks. That being said we can remove that notion. Now about the anti government fascists. First of all any intelligent person knows that a county with no government is no country at all. As a conservative I don't want to get rid of government I just want it to be smaller like it originally was intended by our founding fathers. Larger governments tend to have problems, and take away key freedoms from the people. In the end what any conservative mostly wants is to employ more accurate rendition to our founding fathers vision of America. Sure many programs have came up over the centuries that we need, but there are countless can't be said for the same. So government can stay, just needs a little cutting, and reformation is all.

One thing that really pisses me off is that people say that Republicans and such are nothing but southern white trash who just want to shoot up the world. I hate this so much. First of all look at a state poll map, and notice which countries voted Republican. Yes the south did, but so did most of the United States practically. They only reason why Obama won was because the high electoral college in liberal states. Now I know most of the contry doesnt live in the south, so saying all Conservitives are from the south is just a plain out stupid lie.

Now as for conservatives being gun crazed nuts I wont even get started. The amount of time I could spend on gun control would take up a whole page, so I'm just going to say this. If you check a viable source like the FBI you will see that Consecutive state like Utah, and Wyoming have some of the lowest gun violence in the nation, yet California, and Illinois have such high amounts. Oh yeah people are just dropping like flies aren't they. amazing how so many people are gullible to fall for lies when the facts exist.

Stop your crying

Well it's February, and you know what that means. Yup Valentines Day. Now for some this is a great holiday. A time to spend with you spouse, or boyfriend/ girlfriend. It is a beautiful holiday by nature. But just like Christmas you have those emotional people. You feel lonely with no one to love. Is there any point in going on. Stop  Crying You Big Baby! Now I'm in college and never had a steady girlfriend. I wish I did, but no sense in crying over spilled milk. Just because your not in a relationship doesn't mean you have cry about it. Here's what I do. I'm patient. Patience is key when it comes love. If you rush in you'll just end up hurt anyways.

I guess it's also important to say that it does hurt a bit. Sure I do feel the longing for love, but I can wait. As I said patience is important. I'm young tall, and Mormon. We all know how crazy Mormon chicks are about getting married. LOL. None the less just don't get so emotional about it. Yeah I know that it may seam hopeless, but moping about it wont do any good. Just try to be happy, and don't take it so seriously.

Is it really a life?

This post is a follow up to the picture posted  below. As I stated in my first post there are many problems with society. One of which is the worth of life. In this case abortion. Yeah yeah I know we don't want to talk about this topic, but I deem it an important issue in today's society. Why is it that no matter where you go you still manage to find that one pregnant teenager. Even back where I'm from with a high percentage of Latter Day Saints, and a school with decent morals you still cant avoid it. In fact I don't think my whole lower class men career did we have one pregnant teen. I could be wrong, but chances are I just didn't notice; that is until senior year where two girls I specifically knew ended up pregnant at the beginning of the year. So what happened to the two girls children. I don't know specifically, but I dont believe they were aborted, and one of the girls mentioned when her baby was due.

So was getting an abortion a respectable choice. I would have to say no. As a Latter Day Saint (A.K.A. Mormon) I believe that abortion is only appropriate in the cases of rape, incest, and if the mothers life is in danger. As for two stupid teens who could not wait should go through with it due to the fact that they made an mistake, so why should the child be terminated for it. It doesn't seem fair. Now life isn't fair, but I don't see why that child should not be given the chance to live for his/ her parents mistakes. If a married couple was to have an unexpected pregnancy I would have to say they should have to deal with it too, but then again there are condoms, and birth control pills. In that case why didn't the mother take them in the first place?

There is another argument going around that just makes no sense. In some states you can have the baby aborted at any time before its birth. Other states it has to be within a certain point, or no luck. The argument as followed is that the baby is technically not alive before birth, and with that I call bull shit. Yes I know a Mormon just swore, but seriously people what the hell? The heart of a baby is pumping after six weeks of a pregnant time lot. Last time I checked a heart beat meant a living creature. So in the case of that I would be fine with a person getting an abortion before the six week period since the baby is still forming form a cluster of cells. Weather it is possible for it to be aborted at this early stage, but if any time was to be alright I would think only then. And if that is not enough proof then they have actually placed a camera inside the uterus to see a living moving baby. The heart beats, it moves, and kicks, its only growing to the point when it could survive outside the womb.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I believe that the babies soul enters after the six week period. I truly due. If you think about it what right does the parent have to that life inside her. Unless she was forced into sexual conduct, or if a pair of inbreeds go at it, or the mother could very well die then I don't see what right there is at all. That cheerleader, and Football player should of thought twice. In the end there are more alternatives than abortion. I have  an aunt and uncle on both sides of the family that adopted a child. One of them adopted two within the same month. There a plenty of families waiting to adopt. Why waste a life? I don't know what your thoughts are, but I think life is a precious thing. To not even give a small child the chance to grow into this world is just wrong.
