Is it really a life?

This post is a follow up to the picture posted  below. As I stated in my first post there are many problems with society. One of which is the worth of life. In this case abortion. Yeah yeah I know we don't want to talk about this topic, but I deem it an important issue in today's society. Why is it that no matter where you go you still manage to find that one pregnant teenager. Even back where I'm from with a high percentage of Latter Day Saints, and a school with decent morals you still cant avoid it. In fact I don't think my whole lower class men career did we have one pregnant teen. I could be wrong, but chances are I just didn't notice; that is until senior year where two girls I specifically knew ended up pregnant at the beginning of the year. So what happened to the two girls children. I don't know specifically, but I dont believe they were aborted, and one of the girls mentioned when her baby was due.

So was getting an abortion a respectable choice. I would have to say no. As a Latter Day Saint (A.K.A. Mormon) I believe that abortion is only appropriate in the cases of rape, incest, and if the mothers life is in danger. As for two stupid teens who could not wait should go through with it due to the fact that they made an mistake, so why should the child be terminated for it. It doesn't seem fair. Now life isn't fair, but I don't see why that child should not be given the chance to live for his/ her parents mistakes. If a married couple was to have an unexpected pregnancy I would have to say they should have to deal with it too, but then again there are condoms, and birth control pills. In that case why didn't the mother take them in the first place?

There is another argument going around that just makes no sense. In some states you can have the baby aborted at any time before its birth. Other states it has to be within a certain point, or no luck. The argument as followed is that the baby is technically not alive before birth, and with that I call bull shit. Yes I know a Mormon just swore, but seriously people what the hell? The heart of a baby is pumping after six weeks of a pregnant time lot. Last time I checked a heart beat meant a living creature. So in the case of that I would be fine with a person getting an abortion before the six week period since the baby is still forming form a cluster of cells. Weather it is possible for it to be aborted at this early stage, but if any time was to be alright I would think only then. And if that is not enough proof then they have actually placed a camera inside the uterus to see a living moving baby. The heart beats, it moves, and kicks, its only growing to the point when it could survive outside the womb.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I believe that the babies soul enters after the six week period. I truly due. If you think about it what right does the parent have to that life inside her. Unless she was forced into sexual conduct, or if a pair of inbreeds go at it, or the mother could very well die then I don't see what right there is at all. That cheerleader, and Football player should of thought twice. In the end there are more alternatives than abortion. I have  an aunt and uncle on both sides of the family that adopted a child. One of them adopted two within the same month. There a plenty of families waiting to adopt. Why waste a life? I don't know what your thoughts are, but I think life is a precious thing. To not even give a small child the chance to grow into this world is just wrong.
